About the Workshop
Taking place on Saturday 23 April between 2-4pm, this FREE 2-hour workshop introduces tools and approaches to making art with artificial intelligence. The workshop will be led by the Art AI Festival and internationally recognized curator Luba Elliott and will start by discussing recent examples of creative artificial intelligence (AI) artworks. Luba will then discuss the approaches used by artists including why the artworks they have created have been successful. She will outline the AI tools that can be used to make art, particularly focussing on working with images and text, and introduce some of the tools that are readily available on the internet. Workshop participants will gain an understanding of the resources and communities available online that can help you to make your own creative work with artificial intelligence.
To participate in the workshop, you need to bring your own laptop and smartphone, which you will connect to the wifi in the building using a password provided on the day.
